Welcome back to the Library (limited services available)!
Wichita Public Library locations will begin to reopen Tuesday, May 26, with limited in-person services. The Library, with guidance from the City, County, State, and Centers for Disease Control, are ensuring the safety for customers and staff during this transition. The following services will now become available: Pick up holds (curbside and drive-up window service, inside Library locations with staff assistance), Public computing and WiFi with limited seating capacity, Print, copy and fax services, and Book-A-Librarian (by appointment only) at the Advanced Learning Library! Amid our current challenges, it's important to celebrate our past successes.Your generosity created innovative programs and services. Here are just a few: •1 million walk-in visits translated to 2 million checkouts. •78,000 residents attended 5,400 programs. •Public internet computers were accessed of 125,713 times. •Wireless sessions totaled 104,023. •The use of children's materials increased to 691,195 . •Patrons accessed 4,244 technology training sessions. •Teen and children partook in 1,710 programs with 55,634 attendees.
